Change of Policy

I have enabled comment moderation. I understand that some people may not be happy with the change, but Oh Well.

I will decide if a comment is appropriate, and I will delete comments that I deem to be inappropriate. I don't deem it censorship, just as it is not violating free speech to not allow a person to yell "Fire" in a crowd.

The best democracies have good managers - and that is what I am here. The manager.

Thank you, Dawn. I've silently read/watched this go on for a long time. You did the right thing, choosing to moderate comments.

It's your site...way to clean it up and keep it on track. I love the site and this will only make things better. Thanks so much for all your efforts.

Thank you, Dawn. I think you made the right choice. I am sure it was one you did not take lightly. Now I feel I can come back here daily, and not need a "vacation" from the meanness that would come up in the comments. And now I feel comfortable enough to leave another confession.

Thanks for this and again, thank you for this wonderful site.

Sincerely,
Kim

There's nothing wrong with seeking to limit the abuse judgemental people can sling - go for it!! This site is way to valuable a resource to be messed up by inconsiderateness in comments. Thanks for all you do, Dawn.

Thanks, Dawn. I've been hoping for a long time that you would do something like this.

Thank you, Dawn. I love this site. It is not censorship...I think it is just protecting the tender souls who bare their hearts to us here every day.
